Hi there! I’m Madhumita Behera, the creator of BOOKBREW and a lifelong learner with a deep passion for library science, digital transformation, and education.

I’m proud to call Rourkela, Odisha my home, where I’ve spent over 10+ years working across school, academic, and research libraries—helping build spaces where knowledge thrives and communities grow.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege to work with esteemed institutions like NIT Rourkela, OP Jindal Institute of Technology University CG, ASBM University BBSR, BPUT RKL and DAV Public School RKL, managing both physical and digital resources, training staff, and implementing library automation systems. These experiences have shown me firsthand how technology can amplify the reach and relevance of libraries, making them more interactive, efficient, and inclusive.
